Irish yatra, Carlow

This was our first Mantra Night organised specifically as a programme for non-devotees. The event was organised by Vaidarbhī-devī Dāsī and Yugala Gītā Mātājī and held at the yoga studio.

Before the event, it was promoted locally through posters and flyers distributed around town.

A total of 12 devotees participated in the programme and helped with different services. Venupani Prabhu, Gopi Gītā Mātājī and Yugala Gītā Mātājī prepared the prasadam. Aleksandr Prabhu, Maria Mātājī, Oleksii Prabhu, Serhii Prabhu, Chitra Lalita Mātājī and Vlad Prabhu helped with the kirtan. Vladimir Prabhu prepared the posters and banners and took photos and videos of the event for future content and promotion.

Before the kirtan, Vaidarbhī-devī Dāsī gave a simple introductory talk about mantra meditation and bhakti-yoga. After the programme, Yugala Gītā Mātājī distributed spiritual books to the guests. Jayanthi Sundari Mātājī helped with serving prasadam and cleaning the studio.

Two copies of Bhagavad-gītā As It Is and two copies of The Perfection of Yoga were distributed during the programme.

The event provided an opportunity to introduce people from the local community to kirtan, prasadam and the practice of bhakti-yoga in a friendly and accessible atmosphere.
